School Council Bursaries offer financial assistance to an existing school family who supports the values of John Wollaston Anglican Community School. School Council offers up to five bursaries each year to John Wollaston students entering the Secondary School.
The purpose of a School Council Bursary is twofold. Firstly, to offer financial assistance to an existing school family who supports the values of the School and secondly, to provide educational opportunities for an appropriately qualified student who would not otherwise be able to remain at the School for financial reasons.
The School Council will offer up to six (6) bursaries in 2020. Bursaries are available to current students entering Years 5 to 12 in 2020. School Council reserves the right to vary the number of bursaries at any time.
From the School Council Bursaries policy:
Students must be attending the School at the time of application.
Eligible students are able to apply each year. This includes students who have been the recipient of a School Council Bursary in a previous year.
The successful recipients will each receive one (1) term’s tuition fees.
The names of School Council Bursary recipients will be kept confidential.
Applications are currently closed.
