On Saturday 8 November, the Class of 1995 gathered to celebrate their 30 Year Reunion. It was a truly memorable evening filled with laughter, nostalgia, and reconnection.
The event began at the Archives Office and soon spilled out onto the veranda, where guests enjoyed a lovely evening. Many alumni hadn’t seen the School in three decades and were amazed by the transformation across the campus. Despite the years, familiar faces sparked warm memories, and stories flowed freely among old friends.
We were honoured to welcome several of our cherished former staff members, including Yvonne Wilcox (English), Joy Cicchini (Science), and Frances Van Riessen (Home Economics), who were among our foundation teachers.
Craig D’Cruz, who served as Dean of Studies and later Deputy Principal for a total of 16 years, was warmly acknowledged. Sadly, our inaugural Principal, Victoria Morgan (née Hanson), who led the School for 12 years, was unable to attend due to illness. Her legacy remains deeply appreciated by all.
I am so proud to say I played a big part in this cohort’s lives when I worked in the library some 34 years ago.
It was a night that beautifully celebrated the past, honoured the present, and rekindled the spirit of community that defines our school.
