Year 10 Psychology students explore a wide range of topics and areas of specialisation, including:
- Forensic Psychology e.g. criminal profiling, deception, eyewitness memory.
- Sport Psychology e.g. motivation, goal setting, meditation.
- Clinical Psychology e.g. mental health, intelligence and personality.
Students can go on to study Psychology in Year 11 and 12 as part of either an ATAR or General Pathway.
The Year 10 Psychology class visits Murdoch University to learn about opportunities for study and ongoing research projects within the field of psychology. The excursion gives students an appreciation for the real-world applications of academic research.
