SCHOOL GOVERNANCE

John Wollaston Anglican Community School is owned by the Anglican Schools Commission (Inc.)

Anglican Schools Commission

Founded in 1985, the Core Purpose of the Anglican Schools Commission (Inc.) (ASC) is to establish and support low fee Anglican systemic schools which provide a high quality, inclusive, caring Christian education.

Today there are more than 14,000 students attending 11 ASC schools in Western Australia, three schools in the Diocese of Wangaratta and the ASC Language School, based in Perth. These young people, aged from three to 18 years, are taught and cared for by approximately 1700 teaching and non-teaching staff.

ASC schools offer outstanding teaching and learning in a caring, Christian environment. Each school is a unique community with its own individual strengths and specialist programs, but each school shares the common values of faith, excellence, justice, respect, integrity and diversity.

Further details about the work of the ASC may be obtained from their website: The Anglican Schools Commission.
