Year 9 Robotics students are currently working on their second project—designing robots that detect and avoid obstacles. Using Lego EV3 Mindstorms, students program their robots to respond to their surroundings, simulating real-world applications.
This hands-on Robotics course blends design solutions and robotics. In Term 2, Students will transition to using Arduinos, building breadboard circuits to control devices like robotic arms, boom gates, and traffic lights. Each task challenges them to solve practical problems using a combination of code, circuitry, and creativity.
Thank you to Mr Mclachlan and the Technologies department for coordinating this exciting course.
